Shri Mohan M Shetty, aged 66 years, is the son of an illustrious first generation Hotelier, Shri Late Muthappa Shetty, owner of Hindmata Restaurant, Tardeo.
He is in the Hotel business since last 49 years. He did his schooling and simultaneously assisted his father in the Hotel Business. He always encouraged his hotel employees to study while they worked as he himself did. He also helped and encouraged many youngsters to establish their own business.
A strong devotee of Lord Krishna, he is actively involved and participates in the activities of ISKON for the last 20 years. He was instrumental in starting ‘Govinda’s Restaurant’ at ISKON, Chowpaty. He is the uncle of our ex Hon. Gen. Secretary and the present Promotion Committee Chairman, Sukesh Shetty. He always supported and encouraged him in the activities of AHAR.

Born in Mundkur, Karnataka in 1945, Shri Ramanna K Shetty came to Mumbai in 1961. He joined his brother Shri Sanjeeva K Shetty and was conducting Hotel Sarvodaya for 22 years. In 1996, he started his own Hotel Sarovar. He had studied upto 12th Standard at Karnataka Night High School, Fort. He is blessed with 2 daughters and a son. He provided them with best education. All his children are married. He lost his better half Smt Durgamma Shetty 2 years back. A very soft spoken man who does his silent help, donation etc He is a member of AHAR since last 20 years and always helpful in any matters.

Mani’s Lunch Homewas started by Late Shri V. S. Mani Iyer who hailed from Palakkad, Kerala in 1937. It serves South Indian delicacies of with consistent quality since last 75 years. Shri K. S. Narayanaswamy is now looking after the hotel after his father’s demise in 1978, ably supported by brothers Venkatesh and Raman. They have a branch at Sion and other near Shankar Mutt Matunga.
The quality of the food items served were recognized and the hotel was honored with BEST South Indian Restaurant in Mumbai by Savvy Cook-Book F & B Award 2006,

Born in 1942 in Adve, KarnatakaShri Bhaskar Shetty came to Mumbai at the tender age of 10 yrs. He worked in a hotel at Andheri in the beginning. He later conducted Hotel Sadanand Veg Restaurant in Ghatkopar in 1968. Then, he started his own Sharat Lunch Home in Ghatkopar in1973. He acquired Hotel Signet Bar & Restaurant (which is now known as Shloka Dining Bar) in Mulund in 1995.
A very simple, straightforward and honest man is known for his hard work. Even at the age of 71 he attends the hotel and manages its affairs. He is blessed with 4 daughters. He is an active AHAR worker since its inception.
A kind hearted man always helped the needy. His son in law Shri Harish Shetty was our committee member in the past.
We salute this man who rose from nothing to become leading hoteliers with his sheer hard work.
We pray the almighty to bless him and his family with ever lasting happiness.

He is well supported by his 2 sons. A very silent social worker and donor, he rarely works for publicity.
A man of simple living has created the quality food serving chain of hotels through hard work and dedication.

Born in 1946 in Saligrama, Karnataka Shri Yogesh Shenoy came to Mumbai in 1960 and started assisting his brother in his General Store. He did his schooling in Night High School at Parel. He ran a Restaurant at Shahapur for 6 years with his friend Shri Ratnakar Shetty. They later managedTOTO’S PUB at Pali Hill Road for 6 years. In 1991, they started Hotel Amantran in Khar East.
He is ably supported by Smt Vidya Y Shenoy and blessed with a son who is Software Engineer settled in California, USA and daughter, a doctor and cosmologist settled in New Zealand.
A soft spoken and hard working Shri Shenoy is a silent social worker.
